That is why we promote skills development in communicative terms through English Languaje. Institucional English day was an entire space and opportunity to put in practice what we have been learning in the second language during this year. This time, we decided to do it learning about cultural Colombian Traditions, so the students were able to create a relation between their contextual identity and the use of a second language (English).
PANDA FAMILY remember: ¡The more full English experiences we can have, the better people learn how to use it!
Well use of any language allows to look a different and a great vision of what other cultures could be represent in the world, in addition to improve communication skills.
¡There should have been more good experiences like this one! No worries, Liceo Antonio de Toledo is committed to learning another languaje. Next year it is going to plan more and other interesting activities where we can have a perfect, fun time for everyone.
Finally, we cannot forgett that the main Institucional goal is to generate as many aproches as possible between our students and English situations. We are working so hard in that and it will continue through our IMPROVING OUR SKILLS (IOS). That means imitating, repeating and facilitating production in that language in all four competitions: listening, reading, writing and speaking
